Druids Lane & Bells Lane Resurfacing Programme begins 26th April closed 8pm – 6am for 10 nights

What’s Happening?

Amey will be resurfacing Druids Lane & Bells Lane from the Maypole island to the bus turn round and bus stop at Brockworth Road.

This work is part of a 5 year upgrade of Birmingham’s highways network, in which we will be resurfacing around 45% of the roads in the city. For the very first time, every road in the city has been visually inspected to understand its condition and a prioritised programme of work has been developed to improve it. You can view the programme of works online – www.birmingham.gov.uk/highways-works-programme.

When Will This Happen?

The expected start date is during the week ending 26th April 2013. The work will last for up to 10 nights. We will be working at night between 8.00pm and 6.00am hours. We have to work on this road at night because it would cause congestion or access problems if we closed the road during the day. We will endeavour to keep noise to a minimum but inevitably our work will cause some disruption. Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused.

PLEASE CONSULT THE FREE STANDING YELLOW SIGNS THAT ARE LOCATED AT EITHER END OF YOUR ROAD, FOR SPECIFIC START DATES

Access To Your Property

Pedestrian access will be maintained as well as access for emergency vehicles.
